Build Your Business Online

Build Your Business OnlineAre you ready to build your business online?

Are you interested in learning just how powerful the internet can be when it comes to helping you grow your brand, expand your reach, and create a profit from your passion?

Making the decision to launch your business online can be exciting and overwhelming both at the same time. You have to go in with the right focus and basic understanding of what it takes to be profitable.

There is a process that needs to be applied, and one I like to call – working full circle.

Working full circle is all about making sure everything works together, and what I believe should be your foundational focus, when using the internet for business.

As you plan to build your business online, there are 3 things you have to learn to do:

  • Generate traffic
  • Get leads
  • Convert sales

With these 3 things in mind, you can create a plan to reach your goals. Just remember, it’s a process that requires your consistent effort to get results.

Generate Traffic

Before you can generate traffic, you need to define and identify your audience. You know, the people who are your customers and clients. Then you can determine how to connect with them online.

Social Media can be an effective approach. If you have a Facebook business page, or are active on other social networks, you can begin networking and sharing posts that will attract your ideal audience.

The goal with social media is to grab people’s attention to the point they are intrigued enough to click their way to your blog post or capture page.

Of course you can pay for traffic, but it’s better to connect on a more personal level, so you can begin to build relationships with the people who are going to help your business grow.

Get Leads

When you build your business online, acquiring leads is essentially, your bread and butter. However, it can take some time to start getting a consistent flow. It all depends on your marketing skills and commitment.

Obviously, the more people you connect with, the more leads you will generate. That’s if the organic method is the route you intend to pursue. If you have a limited budget for marketing, this is likely the best option.

This doesn’t have to be difficult, especially if you are actively working on connecting with new people. As you grow your social media presence, naturally your audience begins to grow. But, it doesn’t just end there. You must learn to engage people to hold their interests.

Blogging on topics that they want to hear about, sharing posts on social networks, using email marketing, or even being active in Facebook groups are all ways to gain a larger audience.

As you build your business online, you want to be sure you make it a habit to educate people on your products and services. Asking for a response by proposing questions, surveys, or light entertainment can boost engagement as well.

Convert Sales

The same way you don’t want to come off salesy, your prospects don’t want to be sold to. So, if that’s the case…how do you get sales?

Selling without actually selling is done through value based marketing.

That simply means that you give away a ton of quality educational content and resources, they have enough information to make a buying decision on their own.

Easy peasy.

If you really grasp the concept, you will see how you can leverage content to grow your audience and build your business online.

You connect and engage with people, give them value so they become a lead, and educate them so they want to make a purchase.

This is basically the concept of my working full circle.

There is a process to being successful online, and it is possible to achieve when you put forth consistent effort.
