Being an entrepreneur is not easy…by any means.
It’s scary. It’s risky. And, it’s hard.
At the same time…
It’s exciting. It’s rewarding. And, it’s liberating.
But again, there is nothing easy about being an entrepreneur, no matter how some make it look. It may take years, and years before you see any significant income.
So, before you attempt to go down this road, ask yourself this…
“Am I seriously willing to give 1000% of my energy to this, even if I don’t make a dime?”
Yea, think about that for a minute.
If you have a single ounce of doubt, this life ain’t for you.
Have you considered blogging as a way to build your business online?
Are you interested in learning more, but you just don’t know how to get started?
If you are an entrepreneur or small business owner looking to build online, one of the best ways to establish yourself, and grow your brand, is with blogging.
Think I’m kidding?
Back in 2009, is when I officially launched a blog to promote my business. I was brand new to blogging, didn’t have a following (not even a Facebook account), and made a decision that in order to get myself noticed, this was going to be the way to do it!
Getting your business started on the internet does not have to be difficult. The reason why most people struggle with getting set up online is because they are confused by all the different information available.
Some experts say you need a blog, others say you don’t, and should have a capture page instead. Then, there are some who recommend you use both. Makes you wonder, what to do…what to do?
Of course, each one has its benefits when it comes to your online marketing strategy. It’s just knowing when to select the one that is appropriate, and most effective with helping you achieve your desired results.
Nowadays, everywhere you look online, someone is talking about “living a lifestyle”.
An Entrepreneur Lifestyle.
A Simple Lifestyle.
A Laptop Lifestyle.
A Life Freedom Lifestyle…
(yea, that one is mine)
The list goes on, am I right?
But, when you hear those lifestyles, or see it…you get a certain feeling inside. Those particular lifestyles are attractive to people. What makes them so attractive is the fact that people actually WANT to live them.
People who enjoy spending time on their laptop (maybe more than the average person), are drawn to the term, and can actually envision themselves – living this lifestyle. Why? Because it resonates with them. They feel connected to the idea and can relate to what it means.
The 4th of July always makes me reflect on what this holiday truly means and how it relates to us as entrepreneurs and small business owners. The same way our country declared independence on this day in 1776…you too, can claim your financial freedom as an independent business owner!
We are an elite group of freedom creators and dream chasers. The decision to become an entrepreneur seems natural to us because it’s who we are. I believe those of us who passionately pursue entrepreneurship, do so because it is our life purpose, to impact the world in an amazing way!
Though the journey is not always easy and requires a lot of focus, determination and commitment, the rewards of achieving financial freedom and independence are absolutely PRICELESS.
So many people talk about what they want…
They want financial freedom.
They want their time back.
They want to quit their dead end job.
They want to be home to raise their kids.
They want to live a life free of stress, debt and overwhelm.
What happens next?
They turn to the internet looking for answers on how to achieve the new American Dream…Internet Entrepreneurship. They ‘catch the vision’ as they stumble upon the top leaders in the industry and big time gurus. Those 6 and 7 figure internet income earners.
You start to think, “if I just do what they do…”
