Tell us about yourself: I am a Mom/Woman Entrepreneur that loves helping people. I have a 13 year old that I truly adore. He motivates me to do all that I can to the best of my ability. I was born and raised in Texas. I currently reside in Texas with my son. I always find time to further educate myself through workshops, and classes whether online or in person. I am currently in the progress of mastering having an online business to compliment my current business. There is always room for growth.
Tell us about your business: I own Visions of Learning Child Care Center which is a licensed child care facility for ages infants through 13. I have 6 full time staff members that work with the program. We offer a safe haven to parents that bring their children to us.
What inspired you to start your business? I love children and seeing them from birth; being dependent working towards their independence through learning, play and expression. Just seeing children develop through their ages and stages at their pace just enlightens me. I want parents to feel secure with our services that we offer as a safe haven away from home.
What is your favorite quote or saying? The small things do matter.
What is ONE business goal you are currently working on achieving? To offer Educational Consulting/Coaching with an online resource store all as service of hope.
What was a challenge you faced in your business and how did you overcame it? Decreased enrollment. I overcame it through consistent advertising and marketing.
What would you say contributes to your success? Being a people person offering excellent customer service.
What advice would you give an aspiring woman entrepreneur? Don’t give up on your hopes, dreams and desires.
Are there any projects you are currently working on? An online resource store and other streams of income in my niche.
