When I first started my business, one question I asked myself was, “what do you bring to the table?”
I was really nervous about putting myself out there because in my mind, I was a nobody. I didn’t have any kind of following, I didn’t have a name or brand for myself, heck…I didn’t even have a Facebook account.
It felt kind of intimidating, but I knew that in order to build my business online, I had to start somewhere. For me, that meant being clear about knowing what I bring to the table.
It’s All About Giving Value
How often do you hear the phrase, you have to give value?
Do you ever notice how entrepreneurship is steadily becoming almost as structured and rigid as a traditional job?
So many becoming less of an unconventional entrepreneur and instead, fitting into the new box.
With more and more “experts” emerging, and telling teaching us how to be an entrepreneur, it’s no wonder so many people are never fully able to launch their dream.
Their vision has become distorted by all the must have’s and must do’s, to be successful.
Don’t get me wrong, there are good, and even better ways to do things in the realm of entrepreneurship. But, by no means should anyone be telling you what can’t be done when it comes to the vision you have.
How many times have you wished you had ‘more time in the day’ to get more things done?
Reality is, we all have the same 24 hours, but how you spend those hours makes all the difference.
Many entrepreneurs feel like they must work around the clock because they have to get things done. Not realizing that if they just slowed down and focused, they could get crystal clear about what their primary goals are, and be able to identify the activities that should be priority.
What it all boils down to is not really needing more time, but needing more clarity.
Do you have a hard time getting things done in your business?
Do you struggle with managing your time?
Do you spend more time hanging out online than you do working?
Life as a home based entrepreneur definitely has its perks, but it also has its challenges as well.
Having flexibility is nice. Time freedom, even better. But sometimes we get way to comfortable, and find ourselves doing very little to advance or dreams and visions.
For many years I struggled with finding a “balance” between my personal life, family life, and business life. To be honest, one area always seemed to get way more than the other two because I could never seem to get it together.
When it comes to building a business around your passion, most people will say that having passion just isn’t enough. However, I must totally disagree with that thinking.
The individuals who are the ones usually telling you all the reasons why you can’t, are almost always the ones who never did it themselves. It’s the people who aren’t happy with their current jobs because they aren’t passionate about what they do (mostly because they are building someone else’s dream instead of their own), who want to crush your dream.
Without passion, what is there to build upon? Nothing.
There is something very different about an entrepreneur.
We look at things differently than other people. We see opportunity every where, and in my opinion, our minds just operate in an unconventional way. If you understand what I mean, you are probably an entrepreneur!
You may also agree that it takes a certain kind of individual to exist in our realm.
It’s so much more than having received a certain kind of education, training or skillset. It is not built into our DNA to conform to the way we’re “supposed” to function in society. We simply cannot grasp the mundane existence that the majority of people have adopted.
There is an ability we own that motivates us to not settle for what is…but instead, create what can be!
Every entrepreneur has their own philosophy on entrepreneurship. Not everyone experiences the same journey, but one thing I know for sure: We all want to pursue our passion, live out our life purpose, and make a profit doing it!
Wouldn’t you agree?
I believe we all have the ability to create Life Freedom for ourselves, doing whatever it is we love to do. The very fact that you are here reading this, confirms that you believe you deserve more, and you desire to create a life freedom lifestyle for yourself, by helping others.
That is the reason I do what I do!
I promote ENTREPRENEURSHIP simply because it offers individuals such as yourself, the freedom you want, to live the life you truly desire.
There is a difference between making a Shift in business verses Quitting your business.
Hang with me as I explain…
There are two types of people who this scenario relates to.
It’s those who know the purpose of their business. They have vision and clarity. Every so often, in order to stay within alignment of their purpose, they shift their focus and efforts on activities that draw them closer to their ultimate goal.
They embrace the potential to grow through leveraging new opportunities and relationships.
Entrepreneurs who understand how to recognize when it’s time to Shift, are able to determine the value and benefit of such a move. It is one that will help them do more, and expand upon the foundation they have committed to building.
