About last night…
I had the privilege of being on a webinar with Brian Fanale, Co-Founder of MLSP, as he shared his secrets to making real lasting change in life and business.
Nowadays, everyone online is some type of coach, expert, or leader. I’m not the type to hop on anyone’s bandwagon. Therefore, I’m very selective about who, and what type of information I allow into my head space.
The information I heard last night, really blew my mind. Only because, it was more about truly getting to your core beliefs as an individual, and how mastering your mindset is really the key to success.
“To create something exceptional, your mindset must be relentlessly focused on the smallest detail.” ~ Giorgio Armani
Think for a moment, how that applies to your business and being an entrepreneur.
Do you often become overwhelmed, or burnt out?
Do you have a ton on your plate and never seem to get things done?
Do you usually miss deadlines, or scheduled appointments because you’re always busy?
If you can relate to any of these situations, more than likely, your mindset and focus are not in alignment with your goals and purpose.
Why Mindset and Focus Are Important
It’s simple really. If you want to be successful in your business, mindset and focus has to be a non-negotiable. So many entrepreneurs put so much attention into creating multiple income streams, which is smart.
How many times have you wished you had ‘more time in the day’ to get more things done?
Reality is, we all have the same 24 hours, but how you spend those hours makes all the difference.
Many entrepreneurs feel like they must work around the clock because they have to get things done. Not realizing that if they just slowed down and focused, they could get crystal clear about what their primary goals are, and be able to identify the activities that should be priority.
What it all boils down to is not really needing more time, but needing more clarity.
I often see people on Facebook post about creating abundance.
As I continue to grow and learn on my life journey, it is something I strive to attain as well.
But what does that mean really?
For me, creating abundance means much more than having money or wealth.
It is a way of life in which I believe, we are all designed to live (entrepreneur or not).
Abundance is defined as: plentifulness of the good things of life; prosperity.
Speaking as an entrepreneur, because it’s who I am..I strongly feel that before we can receive an abundance of wealth in our business…we first have to believe we not only will have it, but we deserve it.
To be honest, I didn’t know what to title this post.
So, I decided to ask the question in hopes it would grab your attention.
I just know this is a topic that must be addressed, no matter how many times it already has.
So are you?
Sick and tired yet?
Tired of going through the motions. Tired of blaming your situation. Tired of believing negative people. Tired of stressing. Tired of being broke. Tired of whatever got you feeling tired.
Oh come on…don’t act like I’m the only one who’s been there.
Some of the most tired folks I know, are entrepreneurs.
Do you have a hard time getting things done in your business?
Do you struggle with managing your time?
Do you spend more time hanging out online than you do working?
Life as a home based entrepreneur definitely has its perks, but it also has its challenges as well.
Having flexibility is nice. Time freedom, even better. But sometimes we get way to comfortable, and find ourselves doing very little to advance or dreams and visions.
For many years I struggled with finding a “balance” between my personal life, family life, and business life. To be honest, one area always seemed to get way more than the other two because I could never seem to get it together.
Are you one of the many entrepreneurs who started a business months ago, but are still planning your next business move? Still planning that strategy to reach your first, or next goal and then…planning how you are going to make it happen?
Of course, we have to create our road map to success. We have to have something in place that will guide us. However, a lot of entrepreneurs waste time and energy over planning, that they forget to do the most important task…execution.
This is self-sabotage at it’s finest!
Ask me how I know…
By nature, I’m a very organized and detailed person. I used to deal with being a perfectionist and really struggled with over planning. So much so, I barely got things done. I would spend hour upon hour being busy…but not very productive at all.

“Renew your mind and renew your vision during your time in self-reflection.”
It’s important to take time out for self-reflection. Though we should do it often, the end of the year is always a good time, since most people are off because of the holiday season. Make an effort to have some alone moments and just be quiet. Look back over the past few months and year…
Think upon your successes. The positive experiences you’ve had. How you felt during each one. What goals have you achieved? What did you enjoy the most?
Going forward…think about how you can incorporate more of those positive events in your life and business. What can you do more of to make it happen?

“After a season of growth comes time to prepare for the harvest!”
As you move into a new ‘season’…it’s important to keep your focus. It is a season of growth simply because we believe, have faith, and put our hope in the idea that new things will take place in our lives.
This is your season of growth if you claim it. It is a time in which you can begin anew. You can make changes and you can reconnect with your purpose. You don’t have to worry about what others may think or say, it is your season…envision the life you desire and start taking the steps to create it.

“Success happens when you begin to think, speak and believe your desires into existence. There is power in thought and in word.”
Most people do not realize the power they have within. They don’t understand that the very things they think and speak, are what create their reality. Negative or positive, good or bad, you design the circumstances of your life. Yes, through thought and word.
You have the ability to manifest the desires of your heart. However, it is impossible to do when what you think about and speak, fail to align with what it is you truly want. Like attracts like. If you continue to focus on all that is wrong in your life, you will continue to receive more of what is wrong. If your energy is positive and optimistic, you will draw unto you, more of the good things you want in your life.
