Everywhere you look online, entrepreneurs are talking about a “freedom lifestyle”.
Many boast on social media of their fancy cars, big houses, and the countless trips to exotic places they’re able to take because of being an entrepreneur in the digital age.
How dare they flaunt their success for all to see?
The nerve of these new breed of entrepreneurs…
I’m no hater (and you shouldn’t be either).
You don’t have to agree with how they live or spend their money. However, you have to respect how they create cash flow, and build thriving businesses.
The question most entrepreneurs want to know is, how do they do it?
If you are feeling a bit overwhelmed, or burnt out in your business, it’s time to take a brief pause, and get back to the basics.
Don’t feel bad, all entrepreneurs get off track at times.
What’s important is that you recognize when things aren’t going quite right so you can make improvements.
Most times, it’s because we are doing way too much. We get so busy watching everyone else doing what they do. It gets us thinking, ‘maybe I should be doing that too.’
Next thing you know, you have veered so far off course, and didn’t even notice.
You forgot to keep it simple. You know, keeping the main thing…the main thing.
About last night…
I had the privilege of being on a webinar with Brian Fanale, Co-Founder of MLSP, as he shared his secrets to making real lasting change in life and business.
Nowadays, everyone online is some type of coach, expert, or leader. I’m not the type to hop on anyone’s bandwagon. Therefore, I’m very selective about who, and what type of information I allow into my head space.
The information I heard last night, really blew my mind. Only because, it was more about truly getting to your core beliefs as an individual, and how mastering your mindset is really the key to success.
Everyone wants to be successful.
Most people spend the majority of their adult lives wishing they knew the mysterious ‘secret to success’, that only the truly wealthy seem to know.
However, what many people don’t realize is that in order to be successful (whatever that means for you), it requires you to do one thing…
Make A Decision.
Sounds simple right? That’s because it is.
There are no secrets. There isn’t any “luck” involved.
There is only a commitment to self, that must be made.
Just as easily as you can make an excuse for why you can’t be successful, you can make a decision as to why you can!
There is no effort in justifying why not.
When it comes to building a business around your passion, most people will say that having passion just isn’t enough. However, I must totally disagree with that thinking.
The individuals who are the ones usually telling you all the reasons why you can’t, are almost always the ones who never did it themselves. It’s the people who aren’t happy with their current jobs because they aren’t passionate about what they do (mostly because they are building someone else’s dream instead of their own), who want to crush your dream.
Without passion, what is there to build upon? Nothing.
Have you ever sponsored a brand new person in your network marketing business and you just knew they would do well?
Then, maybe a month or two later…they quit.
It’s probably happened more times than you’d care to think about. If it hasn’t yet, don’t worry. It will.
It starts to make you wonder…
Why Do Most People Quit Network Marketing?
Is it you?
Are you a bad mentor?
Of course not.
Although you may believe network marketing is a great way to create a better quality of life, it’s not always easy to help your new team members, understand that same potential for themselves.
No matter how true it is.
People quit for various reasons…
Nowadays, many entrepreneurs turn to the internet, with the intent on building their business and brand. But soon after, find the entire process to be quite overwhelming.
If you are ready to expand your business beyond your own backyard, and dive into the online world, you must learn how to stand out from the crowd.
Your first step is to define, what makes you different from everyone else.
That’s the easy part…the one thing that makes you different is the fact that you are…YOU!
Aside from just being your true self, their are a few simple things you can do, to start capturing the attention of potential customers and business prospects.
In this blog post, I will share with you what they are…
There is a difference between making a Shift in business verses Quitting your business.
Hang with me as I explain…
There are two types of people who this scenario relates to.
It’s those who know the purpose of their business. They have vision and clarity. Every so often, in order to stay within alignment of their purpose, they shift their focus and efforts on activities that draw them closer to their ultimate goal.
They embrace the potential to grow through leveraging new opportunities and relationships.
Entrepreneurs who understand how to recognize when it’s time to Shift, are able to determine the value and benefit of such a move. It is one that will help them do more, and expand upon the foundation they have committed to building.
If you’ve been in business any length of time, you know in order to grow, you have got to develop the skill of prospecting. There is just no way around it. Business is all about servicing the needs of people. Without people, there is no business.
So, what can you do when you are afraid, shy or even a little embarrassed about exposing people to your product or opportunity?
You just do it!
Really. ACTION TRUMPS FEAR every time!
Now, that’s probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but it’s the simple truth. Like it or not, if you want the life freedom lifestyle that probably motivated you to start your business in the first place, you’ve got to learn how to overcome the fear of prospecting.
Getting your business started on the internet does not have to be difficult. The reason why most people struggle with getting set up online is because they are confused by all the different information available.
Some experts say you need a blog, others say you don’t, and should have a capture page instead. Then, there are some who recommend you use both. Makes you wonder, what to do…what to do?
Of course, each one has its benefits when it comes to your online marketing strategy. It’s just knowing when to select the one that is appropriate, and most effective with helping you achieve your desired results.
